I happen to own the Dennis Wilson Forever documentary but I was wondering about his other docs, I've not really seen the others talked about on here. I was wondering about 24 Hours, The Road Well Traveled, Carl Wilson Here and Now, and 1974 — ON THE ROAD WITH THE BEACH BOYS, has anyone watched these? I'd love to see some reviews on them. Hey, that's an idea, add those to the DVD reviews? (did you hear me Mr. Adm?)  Wink

I have 1974. as I recall, there's a really tiny amount of mute concert footage but the interviews and the non-concert-footage is really cool.

That's cool. No Beach Boys music are contained on any of these, are they?

It's too bad Hinsche doesn't have access to any of the recordings.  I bet he has enough of those home movies that he could make them into a concert film if he were allowed to use the tapes.

I have not seen any of Hinsche's DVD's.  I'm sure a lot of love and good intentions were involved in the making of these videos but based on the trailers I saw alone, they look to be a little dull.  Yes, I'm judging a book (or in this case, a DVD) by its cover.
