The Beach Boys' Southern California bing.com map

Several months ago, I had put together a Beatles Map of Liverpool on Bing.com's map feature. That turned out cool and I longed to do one for the Beach Boys in SoCal. So, here you go - The Beach Boys' Southern California that I created on bing.com/maps:

Please feel free to help me with additional locations to add.

How about Mt. Vernon and Fairway?
Thanks for putting this together.
I go out to LA now and then on business. I'm going out twice in October, and it sure would be fun to do a little Beach Boys pilgrimage type things... if anyone wants to join me?

Baambrugge, Holland, should be on that map methinks! Where is Al's Big Sur house?

Thanks Catbirdman, I'll add Mt. Vernon and Fairway. I wish I knew the exact address though...
Cabinessenceking, my map is only really for Southern California, so...
if anyone knows round about where Al's Big Sur house is, I'll add it.

Okay, I found the Mt. Vernon and Fairway address, where Mike used to live. The photo of Mike standing in front of the house in 1960 in Carlin's book helped. The address is, if anyone wants to check it out in google streetview, 3500 Fairway Boulevard in LA. You can tell the Mission-style in the photo, which really helped me find the house. I added it to my Beach Boys bing map.

Thanks, this is really handy! When I was in California I of course checked out the homes and the studios, but this goes so much deeper... Extra points for ABLE, that didn't even cross my mind!
Let's see, what's still missing... Rovell family house? All the other boys' former homes? Candix label towes? Brian's Hollywood office? Murry's office? The place where suicidal Brian drove before writing 'Til I Die? The bowling alley where he went bowling with Marilyn's parents? The house where Brian and VDP met? Wally Heider's studio? The car showroom where Brian and Melinda met? And so on...

Nice one. I will add it to the Historical Sites thread if you don't mind. Let me know if its a problem and I'll remove it.

There's Hite & Dorinda Morgan's studio/house that they recorded songs at prior to their signing with Capitol. Also the Pizza Machine or whatever it was called pointed out by David Marks during his tour on YouTube that The Beach Boys always hung out at after concerts. Brian's apartment on Crenshaw that he shared with Bob Norberg after he moved out of the W. 119th St. house and the house Brian and Marilyn lived in prior to moving up to Laurelwood Drive. AGD knows the addresses. Carl's old house up on Coldwater Canyon. Though torn down many years ago (like Brian's house on Bellagio), the old site of Gold Star Studios.
Kinda morbid, but the old boat slip/dock in Marina Del Rey where the Harmony was - I think it's only accessible through a gate with a key but can't remember.
If I remember right, Dennis had one other large white house in addition to the old Will Rogers 14400 Sunset house. Can't remember the address.
I'll think of more.....

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Where the hell was the Morgans' studio/house? Address?
I did add Marina Del Rey, Marquessas Drive, where the slip that held Dennis' boat was and where he died. If memory serves, the slip number for the Harmony was C-1100.
I just added several things to my map, including some of the homes Denny lived in his later years, as well as the apartment where Brian and Bob Nordberg lived in the early '60s. Check it out.

This is really cool, thanks for compiling it! I'd suggest adding the Long Beach Auditorium (1932-1975), 300 East Ocean Blvd, as the location of what the Beach Boys have always considered their first official live performance, at a Ritchie Valens Memorial Concert on Dec. 31, 1961.

I might. I did add the location of the real first performance at the Rendezvous Ballroom.
Anyone know the location of the house(s) Brian lived in after his divorce from Marilyn and moving out of Bellagio?
Also the homes of the other Beach Boys would be appreciated, particularly Al's Big Sur place.

It might not be a good idea to put Al's current home location on the map. How about just pinning Big Sur itself?

I could do that, I guess, but I'm a picky bastard and like at least approximate address. Streets at least. I DID add Al's Red Barn Recording Studio, where I THINK it is, since I couldn't find the exact address. It looks like it's right off Sycamore Canyon Rd, Big Sur. I spotted what looked like the studio and house, but I ain't 100% sure.
I'm starting to wonder if I should change the name of this to The Beach Boys' California, since, with Al's Red Barn place, I'm starting to move upshore.

Farmers' market at Fairfax and Third, referenced in HELP is On The Way (and just about the only BBs related place I've visited in LA, and yes, I did eat there just because!)

Possibly. I kinda like having places where the Beach Boys have been, for the most part.
Just added Mark Linett's Your Place or Mine studio.
