Sorry i don't come often here anymore, i have this feeling i'm hated so whenever there's something i can share, i do and try to not come back to read the answers.
Nevermind, so obviously i'm the only here who sees those new stuff? prehaps because i'm in Europe?
I mean, i don't even understand what's going on: could it be just me? because i recently added
all
their albums on my pc? but if so, if it's not available on Spotify (well they try to link it to the two-fer version, but i made sure it didn't) it shouldn't show up, so why, for example, when i pick Love You, it connects it to a page just for the album, even tho it's linked to my files, it has the cover and all, so this means Spotify has a page made for the album, it can't be just me, if so why isn't there one for albums like Holland, So Tough, Keepin' The Summer Alive? this got me very confused.
And now someone posted that picture with the itunes thing that shows up a remastered version of Holland, so yeah i guess all of this pretty much proves we're getting the rest some time soon, can't be pure coincidence.
As for that boardie who asked a HTLM link, i don't know how to make that happen? all i can do on the page is to share it via facebook twitter or tumblr, or send it to a friend.. but here's some screenshots
(i don't feel like take a screen cap for all the other ones)
Thing that got me confused is that, tho the artwork is the one from the remastered version, the title doesn't say it
and the pages for all of these albums are there, but i can only play them if my files are linked to them
as you can see on the Surf's Up on i can't play Walfare Song and 'Til I Die cause my files aren't for some reasons connected to it (i guess because the titles aren't the same or whatever)
which means if i listen to them, i'm probably listening ot my files then.
but still, that one is up there with the other ones i quoted (non remastered tho, but not in the two fer version) but there isn't any for Holland and the rest, just the one i quoted in my previous post.
And i do not think this is normal, i have other albums from other artists that aren't available on Spotify, and it doesn't link me or connect it to a specific page, it's just my files in my music library.
You right-click on the album, and the drop-down menu should have it. It'll bring us straight to the album. But thanks for the screencap. Think they're probably in the system but not actually there, hence it's linking to yr files.
As for me, checked this morning and no remasters. Apart from the 2012 Mono Pet Sounds is listed under the regular Pet Sounds. Score

Listening on Spotify at work (Smiley Smile, Today! and Party are on their way in the post but I couldn't resist!).
First impressions:
- Smiley Smile sounds amazing in stereo! Everything is so 'unmuffled' and clear and the album itself works really well in stereo with all the weird little sound effects and instrumental bits coming out in different channels. The stereo mixes really help convey the sense of humour of the album (if it's possible for a mix to convey humour!).
- After reading some of the comments on this thread I didn't expect to like the stereo mixes of Today/ Summer Days that much but I was pleasantly surprised. Not as revelatory as the Smiley Smile mix but they still sound good and are an improvement on the mono mixes for the most most part IMO.
- I was surprised that I could notice a big improvement in sound in the new remaster of Sunflower. I've never had any complaints with the 2000 remaster so this wasn't on my 'to buy' list, but it's going on there now! Must be the use of the 1st generation tape that makes all the difference. I might stick with the 2000 version of Surf's Up though - I can tell the difference in the remasters but I don't think one is necessarily better than the other (to my ears anyway).

I can't find Smiley. Only Today, Shut Down & Party are showing up for me, plus the greatest hits package.
Would any spotify users be so kind as to create a playlist of all the remasters and then post a link to it please?!
Wow, stereo Today is interesting. The low "Help Me Rhonda, Rhonda, Rhonda" BVs really stand out now.

This, please. You can create the playlist and do what I mentioned upthread with the album - right click the playlist, copy HTTP link, post the link here!

Does anyone know if the post-"Surf's Up" albums which are also on Spotify in non-Twofer form are remasters?
Also, Wow, the stereo Smiley Smile sounds incredible, It's like I'm hearing it for the first time again!

Update: Okay so as anyone have noticed, now the remastered are actually available on Spotify! there's still the Surf's Up one i showed and now it is actually the remastered one, not linked to my files! i can also see the same for Sunflower, Today, and all the others! so i WAS on to something

As for me, checked this morning and no remasters. Apart from the 2012 Mono Pet Sounds is listed under the regular Pet Sounds. Score
Now since it's all up there for the remastered, i might post a link for the ones that aren't the remastered ones announced that seemed more weird, so i opened Spotify and scrolled down to these pages, and wow!!! mindblown, they added Holland, 15 Big Ones, So Tough, M.I.U, all the ones that were missin'! and even Beach Boys 69 (it shows the original date of release next to it also, no 2012, just for the official remastered ones)
here's all the links of the remastered releases i see and the other albums non remastered or announced that i can see and play, i'm postin' it all so you guys can tell me which ones work for you and which ones doesn't

if this works, you'll see that it's just the normal tracks, no bonus and doesn't say mono or stereo, so yeah what is this? is Spotify just putting online the original vinyl releases ? or does this means something??
then there's some few two-fers things, compilations and other stuff/albums, and then it continues
here's the weird Surf's Up one i showed the screencap, notice that year says it's 2009? and now all the songs are available, if it doesn't connect it to my files, i can listen to them
Surf's Up (2009) :
http://open.spotify.com/album/5NJHGcHNdLURknY2LfzjZg
but i realized there's Sunflower right above, same thing, it has the remastered thing but doesn't gives more info and year says 2009, so now i believe this is the vinyl re issues now on Spotify?
Sunflower (2009) :
http://open.spotify.com/album/6oUeivCrkGIQwM9uSy0N1P
And then after scrolling some other compilations, there's some new pages for the remastered albums and greatest hits
Today (2012) :

Shut Down Volume 2 (2012) :

I'm
really
loving Smiley Smile in stereo, and I definitely agree with whoever it was who said that it's the type of step up that may cause a complete reappraisal of the record, but equally great are some of those early tracks in mono. I haven't heard many of these mono mixes before and I'm just blown away by how much disservice the CB stereo does to them. I'd wager the sole availability of stereo mixes of those albums has definitely been a contributing factor in why they are so maligned by today's critics.

You guys and gals will have to buy the 50 Big Ones set , really nicely presented and with some tracks '2012 Stereo Mix'.
Spent a small fortune (again) today on the new CD's , sadly I wont have time to listen tonight as I am otherwise busy listening to some old American band on Radio 2

What do we think of Good Vibrations? I think it's not awful.... Not an aweinspiring revelation either, maybe I need the headphones in.
