he has great piano hands,kind of small and shaped perfectly for the Piano. alot of piano composers are known for the shapes of their hands..just a thought I wanted to put out there..

Not always that nice...like the times he was said to have let his nails grow out and curl Howard Hughes-style, presumably to avoid being pushed into a studio....but it is true, they aren't really what some would call "typical" keyboardist hands.

what's so wrong with saying he has nice hands? I don't see why people think it's creepy,it's just a positive statement that I wanted to put out there and it's my opinion,you don't have to have the same opinion but you don't have to put me down because I wanted to say something positive about him.. lol..ok guys ,the reason I brought this up was because of he being a composer on the piano..it's not meant to be anything weird or anything like that..just something I noticed in photos of him playing he piano..

The first great impression of a pianist's hands I had was seeing Horowitz on the Ed Sullivan show; I was awe struck. Since then, I always look at pianists hands and the way they navigate the keyboard. Once, I shook hands with Cecil Taylor; they were gnarley. My piano teacher had scars on each top knuckle of his fingers. My grandmother had a touch that I adopted; that's why I have a good ragtime feel. I wonder what Brian's left hand reach is.

Never got why he lets his nails grow so long.
Danny Hutton's comments on Brian's playing style are interesting.
And so is the story Don Was told about Til I Die's chord progression being born out of what Brian considered a cool movement of the hands/fingers.
