Well it was a great suggestion. I've been laughing about it for a few days and decided to make that the cover. :

I know profanity is frowned upon on here, but I hope you'll indulge me since this is a quote: Credit to whomever suggested that would have made for a great album title. I don't remember who it was. How about "We Didn't Fu*k With The Formula" for a title.

I must say, I think that back cover is awsome! I would hope that a nice group portrait will be included on the back cover, or at least in the fold. It probably won't look as cool as this though.

That picture kind of reminds me of the 1967(?) pictures of a bearded Brian with the group, just playing around and having fun. That picture has kind of a relaxed look. Even Brian seems happy.

With the updated track list. Yeah- I got too much time to kill. This may wind up getting printed out and adorning a lot of home-burned CDs! I like the front and back a lot.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it I just made an alternate version by shaving the width of the Capitol Stereo arrows and making them square. I think it better fits the sleek, modern vibe of the rest of the cover. EDIT: Changed the font for Runners ^_^ This is amazing. Stop it, guys. This is the best reworking right here. No need to gussy it up with self-referential Cooper Black.

But did you notice that the font used for the title on Capitol's original design is from the Pet Sounds cover? You could say Capitol got the whole "self-referential" ball a-rollin'. Don't get me wrong- I think Capitol's original design is great even with the somewhat cheesy Beach Boys logo. Sometimes cheese can be cool. It's better than I ever thought it would be. I'm just having a little Photoshop fun here with these imaginary 60s covers, but I do think they're pretty damn cool-looking too.

It's not, actually. Cooper Black has rounded edges. The basic cover's title font has squared-off edges.

I think the board has finally jumped the shark, what with us arguing about fonts on fake album covers.

I choose to believe that it's reached its full potential. But did you notice that the font used for the title on Capitol's original design is from the Pet Sounds cover?

You are correct, sir!
