On topic insofar that the Bee Gees often cited the Beach Boys as an influence. Hope he pulls through, but this could be it.

Of the Brothers Gibb, he would be the 2nd to pass away, right?  I'm a fan of their music, but it was strange how their careers exploded with Saturday Night Fever.  The disco stuff was quite different from the typical Bee Gees music.

Yeah it's sad to hear this.  He's looked so horrible in photographs the last couple years, maybe it's his time.  It's a shame to lose people we love so much, so early.  My thoughts also turn to Barry, they were all really close.

BTW urbanite I think Andy passed away too, so that's 3 that have passed.  He wasn't in the group, though.

Robin is the only Bee Gee I've ever seen perform.  He was at the Hollywood Bowl opening night several years ago in which Brian was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame.  Robin gave a short speech and sang "Too Much Heaven" acappella.  He sounded great.  I love the Bee Gees' music and it's sad the family has had so much tragedy among the brothers.

Very sad to hear.  He and his late brothers are all far too young to leave this world.

Robin seems to be waking up from his coma.  The guy just won't quit, good luck to him.
