And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

What's the story on Brian playing keyboard in some of those live shots? Looks like sometime between '71 and '74.

Whisky A Go-Go-Go-Go, Los Angeles.
Brian played the 2 shows on November 4, 1970
& one show on November 5, 1970 & then passed out and didn't appear for the other 5 shows.

He didn't pass out, his ear was hurting him and he went out afrer feeling dizzy. Probably a touch of fear combined with the loudness.

i passed papers back in 1970. i remember reading in our paper that brian was in the hospital right after this. had an interview with him. i was surprised that this news made my local paper, ashland ky. i saved it but that issue was in the bags of beach boy stuff i saved and mom threw out when i went away to pharmacy school. moms...gotta love 'em  Smiley

Strange if he was because I never heard of this even in a very long interview Brian did for a UK newspaper just after.
