Please Let Me Wonder....
I'm glad I'm not the only one that realizes how beautiful the vocals are on that song Smiley

Good Vibrations.

Even if they aren't human - they're no zombies, either.  Smiley There's lots of awesome vocals to be found with the Zombies. My favourites would be "Care of Cell 44" and "This Will Be Our Year".

Not to forget "A Rose for Emily" and all the others... the whole Odessey & Oracle has stunning vocals.

It's a bit hard to choose considering how amazing their vocals were on the vast majority of songs, especially from Surfer Girl up to Holland but I will probably go with:

Hushabye - listen to the vocal split from the GV box, heavenly!
Girls On The Beach - the blend, the key changes, Dennis' middle 8, all sublime
Wouldn't It Be Nice - the stack-o-vocals from TPSS box are a revelation
Heroes & Villians - so many different and complex parts, a vocal tour de force
A Young Man Is Gone - 02:18 of pure a cappella brilliance, only topped by the next song...
Our Prayer - so amazing I can't think of any superlatives that do it justice
Cabin Essence - Carls' lead, the 'doings', the 'who ran the iron horse' section vocals, 'truck drivin' man' vocals and finally Mike's killer 'Grand Coulee Dam' parts - by the end of the song I feel worn out from marvelling at the vocal prowess on display.

The "Cantina Version" of Heroes and Villians... The crude yelling sound is amazing...

Just vocals?   It's hard to beat Don't Worry Baby, isn't it?

AND has anyone/everyone heard the vocal only mix of 'Cottonfields' ? PHeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww

Does it circulate? Maybe I'm having a brain fart, but I can't recall hearing this one. Must sound incredible. 20/20 version, or single version?

Only ( sadly) on a B**tleg ( honestly can't remember which one off hand , I have too many of the things - In fact as years go on I begin to forget what is actually released and what isn't  Embarrassed ), and its the single version

It was on Youtube for a bit cos I let my mate hear it in order to blow his mind, those backing vocals are something else!
