So.....hopefully......A Postcard from California will finally see a proper physical release this month. And "Waves of Love" won't be on there, since apparently it's gonna be on the new Beach Boys album. But what about the other supposed "bonus tracks": "California Dreamin'" with Neil Young and Glen Campbell and "My Plane Leaves Tomorrow", which I think is also with Neil Young. Al talked about those being on the new version, but from the tracklists I have seen, it looks like the same twelve tracks. Does anybody know what the deal is? Have any of the songs been remixed? Is the artwork different than the Amazon cd-r version? Regardless, it's nice that Al is officially getting it out there in CD form. It's a shame Mike didn't do the same thing with the material he was working on last decade, although I'm assuming we'll get something like "Cool Head, Warm Heart" on the new Beach Boys album. Which would be fine, but hopefully no other "solo" Mike Love stuff beyond that, as I'm much more interested in new Brian Wilson composed Beach Boys material.

We've already had Cool Head on the Hallmark album... I hope recycling will be kept to an absolute minimum on this album.

SusPect the track listings you've seen relate to the original release as the only official info on this physical issue has related to delay after delay after delay.

When released it will be renamed Postponement from California.
