Is this song any good with Carl & Mike's vocals? I'd love to know more about it. I looked pretty hard online to buy it, does anyone know where one can get it??

Six minutes long, extremely repetitive lyrics. Typical Ron Altbach electric piano. The only part Carl and Mike are audible on is saying the line "oh, vyea, vyea, vyea" again and again and again.

Doesn't sound too great. I guess I'll have to hear it myself though. Thanks for the info!

It's kinda like "All This Is That" (only not that good) in that the repetition becomes hypnotic. The long version has about 60 seconds more of Mike & Carl.

All Life Is One by Charles Lloyd is recomended. Brian is on top singing high still in great voice.

Yeah, All Life Is One features absolutely beautiful harmonies by Brian, Carl, Mike, Al, Billy Cowsill, Rhetta Hughes, and Michael O'Gara.  It's on the Warm Waters album released in 1971.  As far as I know it's never been released on CD or iTunes, etc.

Always really liked that song. It's the only real reason I bought the album, other than some of the Beach Boys are on it....

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Always loved "Vy-Ya" myself - and rate it alongside "All Life Is One" as a great timepiece. Tie it in with Mike's rambling "Rishikesh" and you have a nice little three-part trilogy ... not quite "California Saga" but it plays well  Cool Guy

"Country Pie" was from that era too, wadinit? They did it live around '78. Like that one too.

I never could get into the Charles Lloyd songs, but maybe I'll give them another listen soon. Country Pie is a fun one for sure!

I'd love to hear Vy-Ya.  But would really love to hear All Life Is One.  Billy Cowsill and Brian Carl, Mike and Al.  That is five of my very favorite singers all on one track.  Please Maybe someone could help me...
