There's a new CD out by The Explorers Club. I'm sure that many people on this board found their way to their first CD 'Freedom Wind' which was an extremely well-crafted homage to the Beach Boys through several phases of their career. If you have never heard it, you should check it out by any means possible. The new CD still shows the Beach Boys influence, but this one is as much Bacharach as it is Wilson i.e. a more generalized late-60s/early 70s pop album. The Wondermints used to have this territory pretty well covered, but it seems like they're not much interested in releasing new material. Enter The Explorers Club.
