Anyone here going to the Saratoga, NY show?

Actually just got my tickets for it the other day. Section 8! A little to the back but still closer than the lawn...I think I'm gonna be the annoying guy standing up blocking people's views and (maybe drunkenly, not sure yet) screaming along out of tune to all of the songs.

I for some reason got an issue of Billboard magazine in the mail. Is that part of the VIP deal, or is this just some random thing? It's not mentioned on the site, and I got the lowest tier package so I don't think it is. Buuuuuut I can't think of any other reason it would show up to my house with my name on it.

Holy sh*t, this is the worst magazine ever. Artists of the year: Adele, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gag, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown. Popular music is god awful.

I think the point was about backing them up.

"I don't remember much more than that. Just flashes, glimpses of that. I think we may have intersected with the Caravan tour. But we didn't actually go on the whole tour. We backed up other bands in the early years. I remember we backed up Dee Dee Sharp and Jackie DeShannon, maybe even the Righteous Brothers occasionally."

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Apart from the Spanish dates a week or two ago, have any other non US dates been officially announced yet? I thought they were imminent judging by the press release a few weeks ago. I'm saving up my money here so that I can spend as much as I need to on the best seats in the house if they come over to the UK so they had better let me know soon!

Drake's alright.  I can't say I really enjoy his music, but I respect the guy for making GOOD music. I like Kanye. In fact, I love Dark Twisted Fantasy.  Only rap/hip-hop album I've ever bought, and probably the only one I ever will buy.

I just got an email from the Chicago Theater that they've released more tickets for both shows. If anyone missed out, you should be able to get tickets now for either Monday or Tuesday. Who's all going to the Monday night show? I was able to get my afternoon class covered, so I'm free after 1:00 if anybody wants to get together before the show or something.

So I checked; best seat available for Monday was in the pit, row ddd, seat 417. Only $271.53!!
Nahhh....   I'm not going....
