Memorable trolls or blueboaders of the past

Been reading old threads and seen old troll posts. Which trolls from any beach boys related board over the years were memorable?

Bobby California, Mike Lenz aka Bonghufffer, Karl Rogers, Bluebird, Kie Miskelly, AGD...
Just kidding about AGD.

What was the deal with Bobby California vs. AGD? I know bluebird was a creepy con-artist. What about outie 315 or Thomasogg?

California, Lenz, and Rogers were names from the Male Ego board. Did they post on the Smiley?
I always thought these guys were legit, not trolls. They seemed to know their poo. Bobby would get into it with AGD (but who hasn't at one time or the other). I think Bluebird hung out on BrianWilson.com and was a pain in the ass sometimes but not really a troll. Does she still post under a different name? Isn't she also married to a Beach Boys/Brian fanatic?
I liked Lenz. Smart guy and he wrote intelligent posts. Didn't he and Karl fake death once or twice? Then one day Lenz's death wasn't fake. He checked out for real!

Brian Christie. Got ripped to shreads for slamming GIOMH before its release on the Blueboard. Not so much a troll, as much as he was of the group that if you weren't around when the Beach Boys started, you weren't a fan.

I've already written about my distaste for ghost in the main forum.
But, my "favorite" so far has been Andrew G. Foe. Although I like AGD, I think the "Foe" was an interesting send up.

Does anyone remember a couple who met and married (or at least moved in with each other) via the Blueboard? I'm not talking about Bluebird. It was a different woman who met some guy via the Blueboard and they both posted how happy they were, then they broke up and the woman posted a link to her blog about what a horror story the man and their relationship was. As in, the type of behavior that often winds up with people going to jail and getting restraining orders. That was er, interesting. I can't remember their names, but I remember the blog the woman wrote about the guy.

I remember her from the Cabinessence board and Net Sounds. Her board name was Farmer's Daughter. She wasn't a troll though. "Barbie" was a real wacko on the Cabinessence board. Wow, she was out there.

Bluebird, aka Pat Panuska, is a complete sh*t, a liar and a fantasist who has defrauded other fans of thousands of dollars, which she has yet to pay back. She's also screwed up the life of a very nice fellow fan. I took great delight, along with a few others, in destroying her reputation. She is beneath contempt. If you want to see Jeff have a laughing fit, just look him in the eye and say "Bluebird". The Miracle of Glasgow is enshrined in BB legend.
Bobby California, aka Walfisch, was a Blooie who was just a delight to take pots at: the one I recall most fondly was when he stated that Dennis was an overrated composer and he could say this as he was very familiar with his output. When challenged it emerged he was familiar with about 50% of DW's canon and knew very little about
POB
.
Another recent Bloo troll of note was Alex(andra) McDonald/Steve Peters/The Scribe/Pork Pie, who posted with exactly one intent, and it wasn't anything to do with Brian or The Beach Boys. Took me a little while, but all trolls who use multiple identities eventually make a slip and when they did, I worked out who it was pretty easily (hint: if you're pretending to post from another continent, make sure the time zones match... and if you're pretending to fly somewhere else, check that there are actually some flights leaving at the right time.
).

I'm trying to figure out what Bluebird's charms were that she conned so many people. She was ordinary looking (being charitable, but I'm not the type to be mean). She didn't seem to have an extraordinary wit or have much to contribute to the board when I read her posts. Yet she managed to meet a spouse on that board and also con people out of a lot of money. How did she do it? Was it her claiming she sent Brian's daughters pony books? Are Blueboard regulars suckers for pony books? I always subscribed to the old "neither a borrower nor a lender be," so I've never been a soft touch. Though I was under the impression she may have misled some fans to believe she had access to Brian and his band and could provide backstage passes, maybe that was her angle.
My point in bringing up that other lady and her Blueboard relationship gone wrong is that it strikes me the people who are Brian fans aren't necessarily more gentle as a whole than say, Led Zep or Who fans, in spite of the love and mercy thing. In fact, it seems like a few are gullible, and a fewer others are predatory. There's something odd about the vibe of that board. It's not all the fans on there, just some of them.

Panuska claimed to be a close & personal friend of Brian & Melinda, and showed a photo of her with them to prove it. One. Photo. I asked someone who
is
a personal friend of Brian's and they weren't at all impressed. Sure, she got some folk backstage but hell, with Brian's band back in the day, that wasn't exactly hard to do: you just asked. She gave BW/BB fans a bad name, and she's paid the price. Most trolls are harmless, but she was - and remains - malevolent.

Whoever from the mods banned Newguy was/is absolutely wrong, full stop. So much hate was towards him on this board, many posters even started talking about how "This place used to be very interesting,
all
the people seemed very kind, we had intelligent discussions but now I hardly ever post here" yada yada. Really, are you sure? Because from what I've read it definitely didn't seem like it. One famous example - the long & boring to death drama around some 40-sth. woman & the administrator. As I recall, everyone defended the former & threatened to leave the board. Actually, some of them left it for real. Hilarious, isn't it? I mean, seriously? Leave this place because of some ridiculous situation? When I was reading that topic, I was shocked at how people - including even I. Spaceman-Mr. Know-It-All & All-Around-Tough Guy - could be so over-sensitive. After all, we come here for reading sth. BBs-related & that's what matters in the foreground.
So, at the end, what I am trying to say is that this troll thing happens all the time in the Internet, it's not like one newbie registered & killed all the joy. If you don't like to read posts of certain people, then ignore them & they'll eventually stop their "wicked plot" (c). Generally, people who pay attention to the "trolls" & follow them everywhere just expressing dislike & nothing significant are guilty of this whole off-topic thing too. Instead, they could be more polite & stay on subject, helping with the info, advice etc. There's nothing more illogical than people who complain about "trolls", yet still visit their threads. In fact, it's illogical to the level that I start suspecting that those haters actually like those "trouble-makers". Or else why would they spend their time replying to their posts?
I'd understand if some Smiley Smilers missed the past members of the forum, indeed, there were many good & interesting posters which I happened to really like. However, as I've said, the board had its lows & "villains" in those times too. Don't blame it on Newguy, it's unfair.

Newguy started a lot of pointless threads (
http://smileysmile.net/board/index.php/topic,12279.0.html
) (in his defense he started some pretty interesting threads, too), made some pretty risque comments (
http://smileysmile.net/board/index.php/topic,14988.msg343149.html#msg343149
), and was beginning to get on a lot of people's nerves. He brought a lot of life into many threads, he had a real enthusiasm about music and The Beach Boys, but was starting to be more of a troll than an informative/opinionated poster. We could've ignored him, but at the time a lot of people had had enough...it was easier to ban him than have to sift through more BS.
Maybe the mods will let him come back one of these days...and hopefully he'll be a bit more conscientious about what he posts.

How about when he turns 18 in 2020.
But seriously, he showed a lack of respect for anybody and clogged the board with pointless threads (my cousin likes belles of paris, etc.)
Plus he made jokes about Jerry Sandusky and other countless horrors.

Rab, you made many fair points, I especially agree with the statement that Newguy brought a lot of life into many threads, even those he didn't start. And I know that he could be sometimes a bit over-the-top with his comments, you are right about it, I don't defend him on that. But, you know, I'm one of those who are for giving the 2nd chance to anyone.
2SMiLE Brian: "showed a lack of respect for
anybody
?" What are you talking about? He definitely didn't show
me
a lack of respect. On the contrary, we had great conversations here; I enjoyed discussing with him various BBs & musical things, such as favorite tracks, albums, various music-related recollections about family, even music specifically for headphones. I liked all those light talks, because I visit this forum not for philosophical speeches or politics etc., I visit it to discuss my favorite band & music in general. So, I don't really know what's your beef with Newguy. I many times noticed that you just like to mention his name once in a while, even after his ban.
Re jokes about Sandusky & similar "horrors": I don't find all of this good too, but remember that he wrote it in the Sandbox, not in the main board. Yes, I know that he created enough of pointless threads there as well but why care? There were many wise people who didn't pay any attention to him & frequented other topics they found interesting. It's simple.
Also, can't you tell me that only Newguy started pointless threads, as you say? How about dwtherealbb's "For those with daughters, which of the five would you have liked the most as a son-in-law?" To me, it surpasses every Newguy's thread by being pointless & absolute dreck. Yet you didn't say anything to him or about him. And there are many such examples.
To go further, I'll add that I'll take any musical thread made by Newguy, be it Top-5 underrated songs or, as you mentioned, about his cousin liking Belles of Paris over endless & super-boring Mike-bashing discussions. At least, the former is harmless.
To posters who made these unfunny & unoriginal jokes: please stop all this "I bet Newguy is ghost", "Nobody is Thomasogg" etc. detective game. Is it any of our business? I myself don't give any care for that. It's the mods' job.
If you can't tolerate people via the screen, then I wonder how any of you deal with the people around you?

Newguy was banned for his posts on 1 Jan 2013; I had gotten many many complaints but these were the last straw. Also, those topics, such as the Sanusky thread, were
moved
to the Sandbox, as they were originally posted in the main forum.
Whomever thought he was Thomas Ogg or Ghost was incorrect, though.

That's not that bad of a thread; that could actually lead to an interesting discussion. Not the same as a rather offensive discussion on sleeping with Melinda being arousing because she was once with Brian (PG version). What's still visible in his post history is not
all
of his posts; some were moved to the hidden mod forum because they were bad enough not to leave on the board.
