All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.

Almost certainly within the last six months (is that close enough?) in view of the artwork visible behind SO'H.

Yeah, seems it was organised by O'Hagan's label, Drag City.

Didn't realize O'Hagan was that old.

Well, IIRC he was 40-something in the 90s, so I would expect he's 50-something now.

Really? I'd have thought he was just barely 40 now.

Sean O'Hagan had a band before the High Llamas, Microdisney, which released their first album in 1980, so that makes him in his early 50s if we say that he had to at least be around 20 when Microdisney's first album came out.

I chatted with him at a club show in 1997 or 1998 -- he was pretty clearly in his late 30s or early 40s by then.

The fact we're talking about how old and decrepit Sean O'Hagan looks makes a great case for living in Pasadena as opposed to living in South London...
