What with the "Smile Sessions" box set and all the other BB related stuff that's come out in the past 7yrs, Any chance of an update of this book Andrew??. BTW it was this book that was one of the first BB book I've got & in my first flush of getting to know BB music this book was my bible. Cheers Andrew for showing me the way & guiding me into this wonderful world of BB music

This was also the first bb book I bought. The pocket sized one from hmv. It was really my gateway into getting a broader umdertanding of the catalogue so am grateful for that! I'd definitely buy a reprint that included The Smile Sessions.

Knowing how much it rankles Andrew to the core when you misspell a name, I doubt he'll ever answer your question now.

Corrected his name in the subject title for this post, so there is hope.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

I've only got mobile internet access on my blackberry and I can't find how to correct my subject title. And what do you expect from me?? I'm very poor at English but at least I got a E in G.C.S.E back in the 80's lol.

I'm guessing any update on the ComGuide will have to be online, but yes, would love to do something on

Well, I'd have to hear it first, and it's not released for another week or so, is it ?

Andrew it was your book that made me seek out a copy of Smile in a famous north London market back in the late 90's, The section on Smile really fuelled my imagination. Come 31st Oct it will feel like I've come full circle only with the Smile sessions box set we will all have plenty of fun talking & making up new edits of Smile all over again lol

Surely you mean Peter Frampton?
Frampton keeps asking for me to show him the way over and over. But every time I try to help him he won't come out from inside the radio. Damn it.
