Just heard an interview snippet on BBC Radio 1.
Brian is currently working on new material with Jeff Foskett; the clutch of new songs aren't for the BB reunion (Bri didn't say how many songs just there would be 'some good harmonies'). One new song title he mentioned was 'Shelter'.
As we know his stance may change in any subsequent interviews! And if not, does that mean he will have a separate batch of songs planned for the reunion, penned with the Lovester?- if it happens at all.

Brian on why he loves God Only Knows: "Because Paul McCartney said it was his favourite song"

"New rule: Having anything to do with the creation of a punk rawk version of "All You Need Is Love" (never with the horn part because lol hornz are silly and dumb) gets you the death penalty. No questions, no trial, it's your fault, pick out your coffin." - runnersdialzero

I'd rather not have new Brian/Lovester songs...I wouldn't mind Love making some contributions to a BB reunion record, but I think Brian's latter day tunes are better served by Scotty Bennett/Andy Paley/Kalinich/VDP, etc. I'm afraid we'll end up with more Still Cruisins, Summers in Paradise, Kokomos...
