Need a bit of help from you good people out there. Specifically, the week-by-week AC chart figures for the following songs:
Come Go With Me What You Do To Me Kokomo Still Cruisin' Hot Fun In The Summertime Deck The Halls We Wish You A Merry Christmas
Anything greatly appreciated.

The smart arse answer is that finding the chart placings of half of those songs should be very easy indeed... i.e. they didn't (chart).
I don't have the real answer.

Oh, they all made the AC chart, but I can't find the week-by-week numbers. But someone is helping.

Is it a chart based on radio play? They can't have sold anything...thjough i'm surprised they would be played on radio too.

Think you'll find "Kokomo" sold the odd copy or two.

I am a moron.
Apologies to all who've been scrabbling in their basements and unearthing dank copies of Billboard... but I belatedly remembered about an hour ago that when Mike Grant was editor of Stomp, he listed the AC positions week by week in the news section. Duh
OK, now you can hate me.

OK, now, this time I promise the following number I need aren't in Stomp.
"It's OK" - peaked at #33 in the Easy Listening chart (as the AC was called back then): that's all I have
"Pegg Sue" - debuted 9/23/78, first two weeks 46-46: they might be the only two weeks, but I need to be sure.
"Come Go With Me" - AC position for w/e 1/2/82
"Problem Child" - peaked at #38.
"We Wish You A Merry Christmas" - I'm being dim: did this chart in 2005 or 2006 ? And which chart - AC or seasonal ?
So, for them as wondered (has to be one more, right ?), here's the peak AC positions:
It's OK - 33 Peggy Sue - 46 ? Good Timin' - 12 Lady Lynda - 39 Beach Boys Medley - 20 Come Go With Me - 11 What You Do To Me - 20 Getcha Back - 2 It's Gettin' Late - 20 She Believes In Love Again - 26 California Dreamin' - 8 Kokomo - 5 Still Cruisin' - 9 Problem Child - 38 Hot Fun In The Summertime - 17 I Can Hear Music - 16 Your Imagination - 20 Deck The Halls - 8 We Wish You a Merry Xmas - 29

Although I already posted it (see above) you can have a look yourself at Billboard here: http://www.billboard.com/#/artist/brian-wilson/chart-history/6031?f=341&g=SinglesWe Wish You A Merry Christmas charted on AC for one week in 2006. Best Scotty

Thanks, I was getting mixed messages. On a whim, I checked out the same feature for The Beach Boys, and to call it grossly inadequate & inaccurate would be a positive compliment.

[Thanks, I was getting mixed messages. On a whim, I checked out the same feature for The Beach Boys, and to call it grossly inadequate & inaccurate would be a positive compliment. You're right. All entires before 2000 (if I remember correctly) are ... well ... uh ... affected by a black hole ... but from 2000 up until today these lists on their website are pretty accurate. But it's always a wise decision to check the original copies of Billboard - no question at all. Cheers, Scotty

Many thanks to all who provided valuable info in this thread: put the new page up earlier today, and amended the 'front' page of the section. AC charts 1976-2006

I have requested information about the curent missing chart positions, with this reply so far:
Come Go With Me was at #12. The December 26, 1981 Billboard is a double issue so it retains the same position for January 2nd.
Hope this helps.
