Did you guys shelve the project because you thought is was shite? So why will you be releasing it now, then?

Not to play devil's advocate or anything (LOL) but where does this "you guys" come in? Last I checked Brian shelved the project.

What is that slow, brooding bit in Child all about? Sounds like an expectant father waiting for his son to be born, nervously checking the clock, then we hear the wail of a baby - the birth - in the chorus. Am I totally on the money with that assessment Brian, or what?

My question:

Why do people keep spelling Murry's name wrong?  It ain't that hard to spell!
Logged

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

I thought that Murry Wilson CD was from Egypt.  My CD says "Capitol/EMI, manufactured in Bumfuct."

And hey, better that "Murry" is spelt wrong instead of using "alot" in a sentence.  That really pisses off the spelling police.

Was "You're Welcome" EVER intended for the Smile album??

Plenty of evidence shows it was not intended for the LP.

[/quote]

Can you please share some of that evidence ? I'm not at all disputing it, I just don't know (except it was intended as a warm-up track for the live shows ... was it ever done live by the BB ?), but I do know I love that track!

..........And people who have trouble using correct punctuation and Capitolization.  That really irks the hell outta the spelling police too.

Is "Capitolization" something to do with Capitol Buildings?

The crow is sadly repeating his plaintive wail that he's starving because his food source has been covered.
Ya happy now?

Yes!  Good observation, Bgas.  I was wondering if someone would catch that.

Several years ago, I wrote to Van Dyke, offering my own interpretation of what the "crow cries" line meant to me. His reply was something like "I wish I had told Mike Love that!"

I'll see if I can find it...
