Yep, I've always thought the next Spinal Tap-type movie that gets made should steal that one idea: The band hires a new member, but simply doesn't tell one of the pre-existing members even after the new member starts showing up for gigs.

It should also be mentioned that "The Lost Beach Boy" not only details Al confronting Dave and being understandably frustrated, knowing more than Dave did, but the book also points out that Al has since made it clear he now knows that Dave didn't know all of the politics surrounding the issue back at the time, and realizes Dave was essentially another innocent victim of the whole debacle.

So this appeared for about a week after the performance and was taken down.  It was a pro shot, direct audio from the soundboard, performance and is a pretty fair representation of the touring group at the time.  Unfortunately, no one as far as I know was able to download the performance before it was taken down.  Hopefully it will turn up on YouTube or something.

Yeah, those clips are from Seattle. The ones I'm looking for have Carl and Al wearing team hats, almost like it was for a sponsorship. The clips are fairly short and are just quick clips of songs. One of the songs is "It's Ok".
