Here's a collage I put together of shots from the Surfin' Safari album cover shoot at Paradise Cove, 1962:

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I guess in hindsight the picture kind of sums up the behind the scenes atmosphere for the C50 tour.

I'm looking for a photo that I know I've seen but don't remember where.  It's circa 1964, and it's of Brian and Mike looking really cool and leaning on a bus stop sign on a city street (possibly NYC?).  If anyone has it, please post it!

Early seventies, I'd say? I've seen it before, only in black&white. Kinda looks like it was colourised.

I couldn't find it online. But I think it's in the "Party!/Stack-o-tracks" booklet. 1964

Mike just posted a couple of neat family photos on his facebook timeline, including one of him and his brothers with their father and one with his parents and grandma wilson when he was 6 years old. It's very personal stuff so I didn't want to repost them here. But you might wanna check 'em out.

Nice pics of Love Family, his mom looks like Judy Garland in that picture.

Mike only needs about 50,000 Likes to catch up with Brian.   LOL

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.
