I really loved the moment Mark Linett shook Brian's hand, really cool
FYI...While Mark is shaking Brian's hand, that's me (in black) having a laugh with Jeff Foskett @ 3:10

Awesome, was there an after party or anything? Or did Brian just head on home

Cool that so many keepers of the BB legacy were there. Jon, how was Brian's mood? I would think an event like that would be pretty stressful for him. I hope he was able to enjoy it at least somewhat.

Brian seemed to handle the event pretty well. Considering how many fans lined up to get their Smile signed, that event would have been hard for anyone. I've done quite a few signings myself and after about 50 your hand starts to get tired...Brian did something like 400 that night. His mood seemed ok. Jeff is essential in keeping Brian comfortable and keeping things flowing and "normal". Brian was obviously relieved when it was over as you can see in that footage, but I think he really appreciates all of the excitement over his music. BTW...I drove my friend Howie Edelson to Brian's house that afternoon. Howie interviewed Brian one on one that day (while I sat in the car, being respectful of their process). But funnily in the interview when Howie asks about the upcoming signing that evening, Brian asks, "What's happening tonight!!??" He acted like he kind of knew but not specifically. Probably just being Brian. But Brian was fairly, shall we say, robotic or minimal in his interview responses that day (other than a couple of real gems)...for the most part he was in lets just get this over with mode. That night at Fingerprints he seemed fairly patient in comparison.

Wait... when that guy says "The elements is a masterpiece" does Jeff get mad and say something about H&V?

I thought that the BWPS crew didn't support "the elements theory"?

Was there too.  The setup inside/outside the store was totally cool!  Aside from meeting the man himself, I also got to meet Mark Linett, Alan Boyd, Melinda, and Andrew Sandoval among others.
