Anyone hae an opinion on what is generally considered to be the best recorded version of Goin' On, other than the studio version? Do most of the live versions omit the sax solo?

This is aight. Brian somehow manages to get increasingly haggard despite the fact he only has 6 words to say in the entire song, and dude flubs the key solo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obzB_8P1fcs

Yeah, that's an interesting one, but I'm hoping that it's not really the best out there.

Come on, Al. You don't actually have to play the guitar, but at least keep your hand out of your pocket.

What was kind of cool about that one, if my memory is correct, is that they segued into "Goin' On" from "Good Vibrations."

Mike looks like he should be a greeter at a casino or something. Or an out of work greeter at Wal-Mart.

Al looks like an outdoorsman who should be holding a rifle instead of a gun. Which I find quite disturbing for some reason.

One of my favorite 80's BB performances. To really get the whole feel of the performance, you need to hear how they segued directly from Good Vibes into Goin On. Also the best Brian performance in that era that I have seen.

Dude being Mike Meros. Not flubbed, rather, low in the mix.

No, I'm pretty sure he hits a bum note and he actually shrugs it off! I thought it was Meros, but my awful memory has made me look like a div on the board several times previous, so was playing it safe this time Does anyone have the full footage/any links to somewhere where they do a segue from GV in GO?

I'm definitely feeling that segue, which they were tighter but whatever. Still awesome.

Yeesh...that's a really low bar. No, worst (far worse) was his performance of Don't Worry Baby, for which the term excruciating does not do it justice. It was on YouTube but I can't seem to find it at the mo. However, once heard, never forgotten.

At least he didn't flub the lyrics, unlike a certain Mr. Elfin and Unchanging had a habit of doing.
