Yo...I submitted 1 song for Vol 1 and 1 for Vol 2...so it's been about 2 and a half years since I been involved in this and I still have seen no outcome...peace...

Amen...I've registered at Ian's new board...but I will still keep my membership here...kinda like a home away from home and also much more Beach Boy oriented over here which is good.

My advice Jeff is not to get too involved in the background stuff. Sometimes it's better to be in the outfield than home plate...

Here's a demo of a song I wrote and recorded in the spring of 2005. Called "Friend of the Friendless Friend". It was written by just jamming on few simple chords and creating lyrics as they came into my head. Then I slowly refined it, but not too much. I wanted to keep it simple. This version has a few overdubs etc...

When I want to give up I end up writing something new anyway....

You know...I really think the opinion that ".mp3 does not do the music justice" is technically fair but also depriving us of a wider audience...if they really want the best quality, then they can get a CD, but for now, I would love to hear the other artists tracks. And .mp3 is the best way to go for that right now...

When I was a very young church goer...I was well acquainted with Chick publications...my advice...if you read them, dont be easily offended...I did like "The Sissy" and "The Bull"...good stories...but Chick always references his own material on the anti catholic stuff...he over emphasizes things he is against...

Yes, I think some of his early books are OK, but much of it has become hateful and hurtful....
