The selected statement above, highlights where the rest of your analysis comes up a little short for me. What if, they already feel this way?
You said -- they're starting to support his way of thinking. What we're saying is -- we're hearing people say things like "finally." You're either overlooking that detail or excluding it on purpose. It's worth inclusion.
Here's why -- the Republican Party has given their base McCain and Romney. And now Jeb. Jeb says things like, "he knows how to handle the base." Tell them what they want to hear, I suppose. So they don't get cranky, I assume. Imagine that -- Inside the GOP boardroom, someone's concerned that they're not speaking to their base.
Doesn't mean Trump wins. But it does mean McCain and Romney didn't.
Thank you for bringing this up. I overlooked this detail due to an unconscious bias. It was an oversight if you will. To tell the truth, I need to do more research on political strategies like what you illustrated. I sometimes have trouble understanding what drives moderate voters to pick a political side. I was trying to assess Trump's position as perceived by common media, and how it changes the moderates outlook on how good or evil they think he is. Alas, the media isn't winning Trump too many favors. Even he admits being a candidate is bad business. I believe if Republicans feel he is ready to take the helm and instill hope to conserving more traditional values, they will most likely vote for him compared to the others because he is more vocal and connective to voters. I'll stay tuned on what Trump offers to recap my analysis. My apologies for not being informed enough. If Democrats are worried he might have a chance at winning, they will do everything they can to make him look bad. They probably see him as a sinking ship, taking the hopes of the Republican Party with it. At this point, the media is on this side, according to the internet. This might raise some flags, but unless I'm reading a bias report, many see his campaign as a joke... Hopefully I've addressed everything, but the point is: in the primaries, to win, you need an established base on your side with the support of minorities, moderates, etc. Trump does not have this yet and is currently bruising the Republican Party. Something needs to get resolved and the harsh image of Trump needs to change if he wants to win neutral voters. Let the sparks fly.

After reading posts about Trump I feel the need to say something. I think Trump is pro-business, and he will use his tenure as president to strengthen businesses. While many people are starting to support his way of thinking, I still do not think he will win the primaries. Based on how many immigrants and minorities are in this country these days, with the help of propaganda, I think many, especially minorities, don't support Trump's philosophy of shaping the country (improving infrastructure of businesses, emphasizing border security, etc.) because of these things: 1. His open, free-speaking nature when it comes to sensitive issues alienates moderates. 2. His harsh persona as a celebrity (The Apprentice, his books, etc.) and the media's portrayal of Trump, turns off moderates. The economic experience with Reagen also indirectly hurts Trump as well. 3. The Republican Party's general stance on supporting traditional values does not win over the media nor minorities and the recently emancipated LBGT community, which also hurts Trump indirectly (by losing business with NBC, Univision, etc.) 4. He has grit, which I don't see often in candidates and is a nice change, but it will not win him any favors with anyone ultimately. I think at this point he needs to repair his image. To do that, he has to learn how to approach issues in a way to please the media. It sucks, but in today's inter-webbed world, you have to be on the right side of the internet community to get somewhere. I can address anything if it needs to be elaborated, and I will appreciate a friendly, civil debate.

The bit about Sweet Insanity is interesting... Aside from your most masterful work, you’ve made some really interesting forays into exploring different sounds. Can you talk to me a little about “Sweet Insanity”? “Sweet Insanity” was never really released. You’ve got bootlegs, but it was never released. And I thought some of the stuff was pretty good. It wasn’t the best album I ever wrote. We just didn’t think it was good enough. Were you intending it for release, or were those pretty much just demos? They were just like demos. We recorded about 10-12 songs, and we decided not to put it because we thought that maybe people wouldn’t like it, so we junked it.Part of the record ended up on “Getting In Over My Head.” Did you just take what you thought were the best tracks — what you felt were the best tracks — from that session and kind of rework them? Yeah, we took “Let It Shine.” I think I wrote that with Jeff Lynne from ELO; he and I wrote “Let It Shine.” And, you know, I can’t remember those songs, you know? There was song in particular that I thought was kind of the anomaly in your entire catalog called “Smart Girls.” Was that just you fooling around and having a good time? Yeah, we were just having a good time. Yeah, it was fun. We were just kidding.

Someone needs to do a "use the force Harry" meme and make it beach boys related.
For those who don't know, it's a meme famous for getting things wrong. It quotes Stars Wars, Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings (it attributes the quote to Gandalf) and another unrelated person (in this case, Patrick Stewart.)

I'm sorry to add negativity to this thread but here goes: I missed the Detroit show. I had the wrong date on my calendar. Since I can't fly anywhere else to see him, I probably missed the only opportunity to meet the man. I'm really sad and heartbroken. They all mean so much to me and not being able to shake Wilson's hand really hurts me deeply. Did anyone film the show or record audio of it? That would ease a little bit of my pain right now. I apologize for spoiling the fun fun fun.

Not sure he's totally against it these days... In all seriousness though, if he has back problems, perhaps a little medical marijuana helps him feel better. Helps with anxiety, too... I'm definitely not saying that from personal experience Off-topic question: is that cart for handicapped people (would Brian would use it because it's hard for him to walk)? He looks like he's goofing off too, so there's that.

So she, VDP, probably Mike and anyone else that is not the focal point of the movie is gonna bitch about absolutely what amounts to insignificant details huh? Major case of insecurity and sour grapes on the part of all of them. I guess Carol and VDP would have been happy if the filmmakers had consulted them. Lord knows we can always be sure their recollections are spot on. These people were a blip in the life of Brian and the movie is HIS story. Get over it.
Oh, but it's ok for her to take credit for playing on beach boys songs that she never played on. Class act.
Exactly. Probably

I'm honestly going to defend Mike here. I think we are taking this interview way out of proportion. Remember this video: (go to 2:44) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k56ecdZ1-As? It clearly shows Mike's disdain for Landy and his psycho roadies. This new interview did show that Mike was hiding a lot of emotion with his words (except the "hell yeah" because clearly that bothered him a lot). I believe by saying "probably" he is becoming a bystander. Mike brought up Evan Landy because clearly he knew more about Brian and Landy's relationship more than Mike himself did. It's a rather weak attempt to dodge a question that is difficult to answer. These observations present the following questions: What of Brian and Landy has Evan seen? Is there anything his father has kept secret (probably, absolutely if you count the illegal prescribing of pills)? However, THIS quote, "But, guess what? He also saved his life." bothers me. To try and remain fair to Mike, I assumed that Mike was present with Brian throughout all his stages of addiction in the '70s and '80s, and at this point wanted Brian to get simply healthy and fit to perform. Mike is also presenting a reliable truth that cannot be questioned: Dr. Landy forced Brian to lose weight and quit drugs. These actions, no matter how forced they are, saved his life and stopped him from collapsing from all the drugs and food. I believe simply Mike is trying to justify Landy's hurtful actions to the family and Brian. All I can conclude from this is... thinking hurts and this whole situation is mind-boggling.
