"This is part of what we played for both EMI/Capitol executives and The Beach Boys/Brother Records people to get them interested in the idea of a SMiLE box set. Still hasn't happened... but a lot of this stuff did eventually make it to the Good Vibrations box set in '93."

Mark Linett himself posted on the message board and said these YouTube videos are a fraud. Its one thing to say, "this is my SMiLE" mix, but saying you are someone you are not and passing off your own SMiLE mix as the "Mark Linett edits" of the SMiLE tracks is not kosher.
