A brand new fan British fan club called “GOOD VIBRATIONS: Fans of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys” has recently been formed. The new club has been established by the bulk of the former Beach Boys Britain Committee. The new GV Team is made up of Carolyn Baker, Margaret Lanham, Chris Branch, Paul Baker, Rob Dean and Alex McCambley. The new club’s objectives are to:

- maintain the emphasis on the music of Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys and their support and related artists

- develop a closer affinity with fans by organising large and small musical events in fans’ local areas

- operate in an open and accountable way and keep fans up to date with the club’s operations

- publish a completely new magazine introducing colour and better quality writing and music news using well known writers in the BB/BW world who have pledged their support to “Good Vibrations”.

The club is holding a Club Launch Day on Saturday 18th November from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. in the Upstairs Bar of the Green Dragon pub, 60 High Street, Croydon. The afternoon will include a Tribute to Carl Wilson as he would have been 60 this year Special guests appearing are Stephen Kalinich and Charlotte Cooper as well as several other artists and fans.There is also a free finger buffet.
