BRI Launching MIke Meros Web Site

Brother Records has asked an advertising agency to create a web site in honor of the late Mike Meros.

Brother Records Inc., the corporation that owns the Beach Boys brand, recently contracted Allen Finley Advertising of Hickory to create a Web page honoring the late Mike Meros, the former organ and keyboard player for the Beach Boys.Meros, 57, died Dec. 26 at his home. The Web site created by the Finley agency features behind-the-scenes and onstage photos of Meros and his former bandmates, which rotate in the lower half of the screen, while playing a live audio clip of the Beach Boys' hit "Surfin' USA," featuring Meros on keyboards.

The tribute site's address is www.MikeMeros-BrotherRecords.com.

Tom Martin, Finley Advertising vice president of sales, toured with the Beach Boys in the late 1980s and 1990s as operator of band co-founder Mike Love's Project Teach educational initiative.
