Some time back, I plugged the vocals of God Only Knows into Microsoft Songsmith, and this is what I got: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsVZartVErcUnless I'm mistaken or otherwise tonedeaf, the chords (at least the first four) are identical to the chords of the regular backing track. It's like Brian Wilson's songwriting aura is able to extend even into software so that it gets it right for him.

And, without that computer program. That was a "painful" listen. And worse, even to see the album image simultaneously. Dissonance. And not "cognitive dissonance" either.

I heard this one a while back and saved an MP3 of it because I kind of dug the weird Goth Club vibe on it. Totally different, but it sort of works in a weird way.

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.
What is this "life" thing you speak of ?
Syncopate it? In front of all these people?!

If you squint your eyes at the beginning, that guy with the beard and red bathrobe-looking jacket looks kind of like Brian in the Belushi surfing skit. All similarities in appearance are forgotten as soon as he opens his mouth.

All similarities in appearance are forgotten as soon as he opens his mouth. Perhaps not...maybe my senses are numb from that guy's singing. Someone should load the Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl show into that Microsoft contraption and see what comes out.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings. Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45. Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story
