Yeah! I just heard some of that stuff a few months back. Blast Off! and You Won't Get With Me Tonight are 2 of my favorite Weezer songs now.

Talk about taking a thread off topic.

Yep, I'm mostly a Blue and a Pinkerton guy myself. I did enjoy some of their hits that came out after that, but alot of the recent stuff I've heard isn't too hot.

I like Blue, but mostly fond of the singles.  I LOVE Pinkerton, but man, the SFTBH stuff really blows it away.  Hearing that makes Pinkerton look like their equivalent of Smiley Smile by comparison (though I love Smiley too of course).  After those albums, they miss way more than they hit to say the least but a couple later songs qualify as guilty pleasures.  I've never heard the Red album in it's entirety, but a girl gave me a couple songs on a comp cd a while back that I liked quite a bit.  I'd heard the album sucked but after I enjoyed the few songs she gave me I asked her about it.  She kind of looked at her shoes for a moment and sighed "Those are the only good ones".  LOL

Sorry to hijack your thread Denni.  I'll stop now.  Smiley  Hope your dad is doing better.

Jonas, I am with you in thinking that the Red Album, or Weezer III if you prefer, is damn good! The Greatest Man That Ever Lived, Dreaming and The Angel And The One are fantastic and Miss Sweeney off the deluxe version is simply stunning, possibly one of my favourite Weezer tracks. Someone should start a Weezer appreciation thread.......

Dennny, I hope all goes well with your Dads operation.

For Brian's next musical project, someone on the inside needs to convince him to write a song about this. I'm sure he'd find it inspiring - and more exciting than plain vegetables!  Grin

If some people weren't so harsh on her, she'd probably have stayed.
