Some hand-held video camera extracts from the private BB's show in London this week thanks to the wonder of YouTube :

Bruce on guitar ! This looks like the regular touring BB's, (can't see John Cowsill or Tim Bonhomme but I'm sure they're present) can this be confirmed ? What was the function at Annabel's they were hired to play ?

Mike's beard is almost as cool as Brian's hair.

Man, call me crazy but Mike's voice sounds like it hasn't changed much (if at all!)

Mike has always been comfortable with who he is, which makes him pretty reliable, and also means that he never sang anything really that was too much of a stretch for him.  He'll sound good forever.  He has better days than others though, I've seen sometimes when he seems like he doesn't have much strength, but I think that may actually be him not exerting himself too much, lol.  He could probably still sound almost the same in the studio.  He's really into T.M. apparently though, so I think he'd rather do everything soft and meditave than swagger like he did when he was young.

On youtube just to the right they have this killer clip of Carl absolutely murdering the song, miss that guy.

Bruce is playing guitar! That's crazy!

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

You probably meant to say, "Bruce is HOLDING a guitar."
A bit less crazy.

More about this gig from Bruce himself (as posted on the BB Britain Board) :

"Now let's talk about Bruce 'Jimi Hendrix' Johnston on guitar last Tuesday night: We had a very private event in London at Annabel's with a stage the size of John Cowsill's drum riser. I suggested we lose my keyboard and that I 'play the unplugged never ever to be heard by the human race and not custom made guitar for Bruce' to save space! I kind of know where the chords are but I only go as far as playing the bass once in a while.
OK....That's the true story!!!!! "
