Dumb Angel is a non-fiction webcomic based around the making of the Beach Boys' unreleased Smile album, and its recreation 37 years later by composer Brian Wilson.
The comic is done in black and white, photorealistic artwork for the most part, with occasional forays into pastiche of other styles. It is set to run for approximately 100 pages before being collected in dead-tree format. It can be found at http://dumbangel.keenspace.com . The comic is updated very sporadically, as a page can take more than 72 hours' work to create.
