Good one, Bgas.  Haven't heard the "Save The Children" spot before.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Seeing the WonderBill posting led me to this BBs Hawaii ad:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRkY5sW5rEc&feature=related

and that led to the TV promo for the Singles Box set:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPGl359dDXA&feature=related

and this promo for "the Warmth Of The Sun":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yt3dXhzG310&feature=related

and yeah, I figure most people know these are out there, I've just missed them.
Somebody tell me again how to capture these forever...

bgas, do a google-search on the words "youtube" and "download", and you'll find a whole bunch of programs that make it possible to convert those youtube movies into mpg, avi or whatever you like.

Well... if you have a dvd-recorder on your pc that shouldn't be too difficult.

The Mike Love Tm Radio Program 5 Minute interview Highlights:

Not certain why(maybe to save me from emotional trauma) but when I try to play the 15 minute version, the needle skates across the record!

Brian moonlighted as a Hollywood scriptwriter when he was 12, 13 ?  Damn, never knew that. Still, Anita Loos was the same age when she started selling stuff to Griffith, so there's definitely a precedent.

I think they were referring to "A Young Man Is Gone". But when talking about the tracklist, they definitely say "Rebel Without a Cause"... So that was probably its working title at some point, and the title that was given to Capitol execs. Interesting.

Bump.
Posted a spot for the Tami Show.
30 seconds, Lesley Gore vocal, BBs involvement only because they're mentioned; still, kinda cool.
Have to dig around, see if I can find anymore stuff...

The only thing better than Carl doing an anti-drug PSA would have been if Dennis did one promoting abstinence.

I know you prepared this link for someone else, but I, being a shameless freeloader, saved the file to my laptop. Thank you, bgas!
Btw, I saved the MIU ad you posted last year too, it's more interesting than this one, no Tears in the Morning appearing (oddly) twice on both ends there.

Here's a joint ad for Magical Mystery Tour and Wild Honey from 1967.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/04am8i

If anyone has any other radio ads for Wild Honey I'd appreciate them. I'm also looking for ads for other capitol era albums. I will upload more radio promos from my collection today.

I was just about to aks if somebody could describe the Wild Honey ad, because I never heard that. So thanks for uploading it!! The song and sound sound so fresh right next to MMT in this ad. Reminds me how much I love that album (Wild Honey that is). Good ol' Rock'n'Roll
Is this the only known WH ad?

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
