When did Bruce Johnston sing Don't Worry Baby?

Live with the Beach Boys and also check out the version by California Music.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

My memory is a little hazy as I havn't seen it in awhile but isn't there a real crappy cover of it in the movie Tango & Cash? Any idea who did that?

I'd rather be forced to sleep with Caitlyn Jenner then ever have to listen to NPP again.

Like Ron, I did my own version when I was younger...the backing vocals suck in spots but I actually enjoy listening to it sometimes.

Outside of the original, I really like Lorrie Morgan's version, as well as Billy Joel's and Rivers Cuomo's.  Ronnie Spector's is great too - I love that clip of Brian hearing it for the first time during a radio interview - I can't imagine how cool that must have been for him, you can tell he was really touched by it.

I had no idea there were that many covers of "Don't Worry Baby" - perhaps it is the most covered of all Beach Boys songs?

I think "God Only Knows" probably has it beat by a country mile - much more user friendly.  Grin

Yes, I think "God Only Knows" might have been covered more, it always gets the biggest applause at Brian's concerts in London, I know Claudine Longet covered it.
