Ronnie Spector (Brian was really excited when he found out Ronnie had covered it)
Everly Brothers
Lorrie Morgan (on Stars and Stripes vol.1)

I also know that Keith Moon and Iggy Pop have covered "Don't Worry Baby", my favorite song by The Beach Boys.

I recorded my own version in my bedroom one time.  It was before I was a huge fan though so I didn't do the harmonies as complex as I should have.

The one by The Tokens is great, despite the new lyrics.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Next to the Beach Boys, I think B.J. Thomas had the 2nd biggest hit with Don't Worry Baby.  It made #17 on the Pop Charts in 1977, his final Pop Top 20.  I like it a lot.

And who is Rivers Cuomo?

Lead singer, lead guitarist and songwriter from the band Weezer

Check here for a list of some other cover versions: http://www.mountvernonandfairway.de/covered3.htm

Also check out the tribute albums section at this website: http://www.beachboys.com/

I'm sure there must be a few versions of Don't Worry, Baby on some of those tribute albums.

Also, I'm sure you'll want this version: http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2007/12/365-days-361--.html Tongue

Its on youtube.
And say what you will about Rivers, I'd say he's the 90's Brian except he peaked out quicker and then burnt out. Pinkerton is as perfect as Pet Sounds imho.

The Billy Joel version is from "An All-Star Tribute to Brian Wilson" that came out in 2001.

I just found another one that I forgot I had.  Supposedly Brian Wilson cried when he heard this.

I have the Keith Moon version on Lp over here.  It's ehhh so so. Take in consideration it's when Keith was in California while The Who were on a break from Quadrophenia and starting work on By Numbers.

not really a cover, but Garbage used a small bit DWB in "Push It" (from the Version 2.0 album).
I quote:

"Push It"contains an interpolation of "Don't Worry, Baby", written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian.

B.J. Thomas rocks.  I heard him on the Grand ol' Opry about 4 months ago.  He's still great (if you ever thought he was great).  His voice was a little husky, but once he started singing all the rust fell off and he was awesome again.  He did that awesome song "This time the GIRRRRL is going to stay..... for more than just a day....."

Very easy to hear Keith's love for the Beach Boys oozing from the track.
Rumour has it this was recorded in Brian's home studio, with Brian producing and singing backing vocalz.

Yeah, Moonie really liked the Beach Boys. So did Townsend I think. Saw he and Brian on stage together and Pete had real nice things to say about Brian. I think he's a big fan of Pet Sounds.

But I never heard about Keith recording "Don't Worry Baby" at Brian's house and Brian singing on it. I don't know if Brian cried when he heard it because he thought Keith ruined it or because he liked it. I don't think it's very good, myself.

He sang it live for awhile. I'm pretty sure he did it last time I saw the Boys about 4 years ago.
