That site does have a lot of cool stuff though...I can spend way too much time there.  I've never seen Brian perform California Girls live either, as a youth anyway, and that's on there somewhere.  Cool stuff, yo.

Maybe liked Mike Love??
His mugging during that era was fine. Once he became a parody of himself (mid 70's & beyond) it got old- quickly.

I was just thinking how perfect that face was for an avatar.

What's the deal with the songs though? Sounds like the first two are real live then PLMW and HMR are just the record.

Ah, cool.

I like how Brian doubles his part but joins the group on the chorus harmonies. And Al's "yeah" is cool.

Youtube is a great thing. I've been watching older Simpsons episodes for days from the site.

I'm sorry guys...I respect all of you...and I don't hate ML's contribution at all...but he is just one embarrassingly, dorky goofball in that clip. I just wish he had one iota of coolness and sex appeal as a frontman instead of all that cheese. When he's in the back singing and someone else is on lead vocals I love him, but it kinda makes me squirm how he makes such an ass of himself.

Go ahead and flame away...I guess I've got it comin'.

Come on Ian...I'm ready.
