Why did Al and Mike fight?

As I recall, the end of the BW AJ touring came at the Mountain Winery Show in Saratoga, CA.  I was not there, but recall that Brian had some kind of  panic attack/fainting spell in the middle of Sloop John B and Al was quite concerned if Brian was alright.  It was right after that show that Al bowed out of further touring including a tour in Europe he had promised to be on (gave away free CDs to those who had bought tickets).

I'm I wrong in remebering something about Al not being happy with the way Brian was treated by his managment?
