"The Like in I Love You"

electric bass - Brett Simmons

synth bass - oops, looks like there wasn't one.

Is that why you have a beard?

That, and being basically indolent.

Andrew, do you know who did the slide electric guitar solo on "I've Got a Crush on You?" It's got great tone and is very tasteful. I know Scott has done slide solos live before, but I suppose it could easily be any number of the guys.

Quick question, AGD -- does Brian play on any of the tracks?

No - nor does Jeff: they're both credited with just vocals.

At the BW.com listening party last night I noticed a theremin used subtly throughout the album which was a brilliant touch.
To my ears it sounded like an actual theremin and not like what was on BWPS (I'm guessing) or what they use to tour. Is this correct? (Andrew?)
The tone is what stands out to me.

No theremin in the credits... but there is a Moog !

Edit: turns out I was looking at the wrong credit page: theremin on "Summertime", "Porgy", "Necessarily" & "Here to Stay" - all Probyn. Moog on "Nuttin'", Darian.

You can really hear it in the "Love Is Here to Stay" bridge.
