Speaking of Rolling Up To Heaven, is it "f*ck her! big tits!", or "f*ck her big tits"? I've always wondered about that.  LOL

Depends on my mood Tongue

Could somebody P.M. me?

I don't want the track, I just want a personal message.

Regarding Drip Drop, after about the third or fourth time listening to it, it kind of seems a bit "meh". I think that the legend of it was a little more interesting. I had read that it was "Brian screaming at the top of his lungs, shouting motherf*cker about 15 times". Not quite.  Grin

C'mon d00d. He loses his fuckin' mind in there near the end. He just gets more and more carried away as the track carries on. Imagine seeing that in person.

"Rollin' Up To Heaven" indeed evolved into "Ding Dang".

I've never really seen the connection between Rollin' Up To Heaven and Ding Dang. RUTH is more of a dirty jam roughly based on the chorus of "Alley Oop".

Meh, fine. They're indeed the same song, though, correct?

I agree, I don't hear it either.

I hear a slight similarity to "Alley Oop". However, I think some legit connection between "Heaven" and "Ding Dang" has been confirmed by someone or other.

If not, then they're awfully similar. But then they're also a bit like "Shortenin' Bread" and the "maumamayama glory hallelujah" chant which was said to originate in this era.

It's hard to kind of pinpoint a definitive link between RUTH, Clangin'(or is it Clang?) and Ding Dang, because even the Love You version of Ding Dang is a fairly generic sounding boogie woogie.

True, but the overlapping vocals on "Ding Dang" or "Rollin' Up To Heaven" are ridiculously impressive imo. Kinda puts an almost hypnotic quality of sorts on them.

Is anyone still around these parts? This song sounds amazing! Razz I've been collecting since I was a child, my first SMiLE tapes came directly from David Prokopy, I discovered the Cabinessence board back when I was getting heavily into SMiLE and also the High Llamas (that page doubled for both) and I LOVED the guitar tab/chord archive there.. This would have been 96'ish? anyhow I've been around a long time and have never heard this even described, much less heard-heard it..  Cry

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Agreed. It's the last of the old blend before the vocals went down.
