You probably might not want to come back to this forum and start of with the horrible PM schtick. People may call you a troll and then you gonna end up banned.

I merged this last new topic with the other "Teardrops" topic. and - yes - this PM-thing is getting annoying...

That link actually sounds worse than the one I have.  Grin The copy that I have doesn't have any of the weird "fluttering" from speaker to speaker like this one does. Which is weird, because I assumed that there was only one source for this song.  Brow

The problem with things like "Teardrops On My Bed", "Rollin' Up To Heaven" or "Walkin'" is that I can't get them out of my head once I heard them.

This track is just gonzo brilliant. When listening to it, I don't know whether to feel how sad it is to hear the man in such a state, or just get into the feel of it, cos man it's a pretty soulful performance in its own demented way. As BW survived it all, I kind of lean toward the latter.

It's certainly funny if you listen to something like Caroline No, then follow it with this  Shocked. It certainly helps demonstrate Brian's, er, range as a performer.

Let's go, m-... !  Grin

This is better than anything that surfaced on MIU and better than most of the things on LA Light Album.

I'd never heard of this until just now. Surely it's a case of Brian being terrible on purpose, by way of announcing he's is no state to take on production responsibilities as required by the CBS contract. Which reminds me of something I've often wondered about. Does anybody know what was on the demo tape which caused Walter Yetnikoff to say "gentlemen, I think I have been f**ked"?

I like it. I think it's just Brian cutting loose in the studio and not meant to be a 'serious' track. I think as an outtake or 'bonus track' it's cool. It's not some brilliant piece but it was never meant to be.

It's clear Brian is trying to make the track fun or a bit loose, but there's no way he's being deliberately "terrible", nor do I think at the time it was intended to stay unreleased or anything of the sort. Can't imagine the guys recording anything without intent.

First time I heard this track it blew me away (and not in a good way)!  Out-of-control Brian...but strangely when I play it for people we end up laughing so hard we have tears in our eyes!  I cannot even imagine how much cocaine was ingested before this song was laid down.  If you have not heard it...find it and listen.  You owe it to yourself!

The only way I see this track ever being released is if the "let's go motherfucker" vocal is omitted. But still...it's a lot of fun. Brian certainly sounds enthused singing it.
