Yeah it was amazing when I saw it on the c50 and the guys sang it around BW's piano.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Yeah, that was great.

It's an absolute sin that moment was left off the C50 DVD that was released three years ago.

If they had included that, IJWMFTT, and the tributes to Dennis and Carl, I might've been more willing to look the other way on the short run time.

Yeah that whole DVD was a mess. It's a shame the C50 doesn't have a proper sounding video or CD.

That's been a constant gripe for me.  The fact that a massive reunion like that could happen and we didn't get a decent document of a full show is very sad.

Well, I won't lie.  I might've come across some not so official DVDs from the Beacon Theater and Wembley.  And maybe that official looking DVD from the televised Japan show.

But, I still want a complete, mastered pro shot C50 show.

Maybe we'll at least get a complete PS50 show.

I hope so too, BW's band needs a proper document of it doing Pet sounds!

Wouldn't that be nice?

The 2002 DVD is pretty decent, but it's only the PS portion with GV thrown in.

I want a full concert of Brian's band with Al and Blondie on board.  Even the Brian & Friends DVD is somewhat incomplete.

Blondie's set needs to be captured for posterity. It is that great!

True.  At least there are some nice Blondie moments on the BW&F DVD.  Plus, that DVD included some nuggets that didn't crack the setlists on the NPP Tour like Hold On Dear Brother, PCH, and Summer's Gone.

Matt Jardine needs his DWB performance recorded as well.

That would be cool.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't even think Matt was in the band for BW&F.  Wasn't Brian Eichhenberger there?

Yeah it was Brian before he joined Mike's band.

What are you talking about? Matt is in clear view singing back-up on Sail Away.

I'd have to look at the DVD again, but I thought Matt wasn't a part of that show due to some scheduling conflict.

Well Matt sang in the album track; he is there standing with other people.

The sound of Mike's voice (and the drop in dynamics) at the lines beginning with "Well I've been thinkin' 'bout" in "Do It Again"...

Man, you were so lucky to see and hear that!  Grin What show did you see? I wanted desperately to see the C50 tour, but couldn't find somebody to take me.

Was Dave Marks performing "Pet Sounds" by that point in the tour?
