Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

Some really cool thoughts and data but VERY subjective. I understand his point in trying to show that the Beach Boys musically were more interesting then the Beatles but he takes it a bit too far. Sure the Beatles had a lot more hype then they deserved but they were a wonderful group.

My brother found me this book and at first I was really excited about it.  Comparing my two favorites from the 60's in one book would be interesting.  But it clearly was a one-sided BB fan trying his best to overshadow The Beatles and in the end it's too biased and loses steam.  I didn't even bother finishing it.

Seeing the cover I guessed right away it would be biased towards The Beach Boys. That's OK, because I am biased in the same direction. Could be nice for a change, as I have gone through my entire life with that bias going the other way. Is it still in print?

The Brianista Prayer

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,
Give Us This Day, Our Shortenin' Bread
And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
Amen.  ---hypehat
