For some reason, people seem to like taking the titles of famous Beach Boys tunes and putting them on their own half-baked songs.
So far, I've got "Good Vibrations" by Marky Mark and "California Gurls" by Katy Perry. Anyone else in on this sordid business?

Agree. 'Wouldn't It Be Nice To Live Again' is a sh*t form of plagiarism. The guilty party should be sued.

"Here Today Gone Tomorrow" by the Ramones (likely an intentional nod, given that they were Beach Boys fans)
And not exactly title lifting, but a reference - I know a song entitled "Close Your Eyes and Be Still".

U2 - "Wild Honey".
And the Beatles "Wild honey pie" ( I know, it's not the exact same name) Los Lobos had their own "Don't worry baby" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tao8rbrnfbc

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings. Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45. Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

I doubt many of these were genuinely "stolen". Phrases like "little bird" etc. have been around long before the Beach Boys.

I agree. However, Majestic are very BB-influenced, and they have 2 "stolen" titles on one album (Wonderful and Little Bird). I don't think that it was coincidental in this case.

The Charlatans:
Forever Feel Flows
They also have used a lot of Beach Boys references; one that comes to mind is the song The Blind Stagger which used the same musical chorus as Rainbows.

Not song titles, but Saint Etienne put out a CD entitled 'So Tough'. If there was any doubt that the title was a direct homage to the Beach Boys, there was also a deluxe edition of the CD that included a companion disc entitled 'You Need A Mess Of Help To Stand Alone'. Apples In Stereo put out 'Heroes & Villains: Music Inspired By The Powerpuff Girls'.
Song titles re-purposed:
Cornelius- God Only Knows (Fantasma CD)
Pizzicato Five- Let's Go Away For Awhile (Pizzicatomania CD)
