It's a nice view he has and i've always believed in what he has had to say. Perhaps if the whole entire world thought on his same wavelength then his actual plans could take place. Until then i'm sure he and his students will be viewed as silly people following silly eastern mysticysm which has no relation to modern day life.

Apparently he's bald now.

He and Mike Love have more in common than ever now.  :D

I wonder if Mike Love is still in touch with him?

Last I heard, Mike did TM training with the Maharishi in Switzerland back in '77. He talked about it endlessly on the tour.

Is that how they came up with "Mike Come Back to LA"?

Filmmaker/artist David Lynch did a short tour of U.S. colleges last fall where he promoted the Maharishi's plan to bring world peace through meditation (tying it into"unified field theory" as mentioned in the article). I attended his presentation at the University of Michigan and it was a very enjoyable evening, not preachy in the least. Basically, Lynch and company were proposing that they would finance anyone with an interest in attending formal classes in meditation for the express purpose of bringing about good vibrations.

I heard Oasis and Mike Love were spotted vacationing with Maharishi in the Bahamas, so hopefully a new musical revolution will begin.

Great pic, earcandy!

I love this quote from the article: "Don't fight darkness. Bring the light, and darkness will disappear." So true.
