My first thought was that with this being your first post, you are probably the blog author. My second was that it's an overview that could just as well be the band profile found on most any music review site. Third would be that it's got some misleading or inaccurate parts, such as Good Timin and Roller Skatin' Child continuing the band's dominance on the charts into the late 70s. Last, the pro-Wilson bent is a little tired. Anyway, those are my thoughts. Welcome to the board.

Hit singles such as "Good Timin'" and "Roller Skating Child" helped the band to continue their dominance on the charts well into the late 1970's.

The chances of a reunion actually occurring are slim as Al Jardine has made it clear he wants nothing to do with the band and Mike Love and Brian Wilson still clash over control and song writing ownership.

Both new to me.
But yeah, welcome to the board !

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
