This is one of my favorite Brian moments, all he really wants to do is talk about Phil Spector.

GREAT clip...a long-time favorite of mine. Just to hear Michael call Joan Rivers a dumb blonde. Gotta respect the man for saying what we're all thinking.

I think Brian just heard the word "single" and thought they asked him about his favorite. But since it's Mr. Wilson himself it could of course be meant in any way thinkable (and not thinkable....)

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I think he just had it in his mind that he wanted to talk about the Beach Boys working with Spector, maybe trying to bring that about in some way, and jumped at the first chance he had to push that agenda.  Politicians do this all the time...spend two seconds on the question and then move the topic to what you want to talk about.  They're extremely adept at it.  Brian, bless his heart, is no politician.

25 Big Ones Produced by Phil Spector.

Could've been a train wreck or a masterpiece.

I'm not really sure, although what she should be doing now is being a spokesperson speaking out against plastic surgery. Her face is pure plastic. Aye Carumba.

Well she's great at talking sh*t on people... their clothes in particular. She's good for a giggle, being a comedian and all.

Saw this a while ago. Tried using "Being X is like a Phil Spector Record" as a joke for a while, but since I'm the only one I knows who even knows the Beach Boys did more than Surfin' Safari so yeah...
