Does anyone have any song lists of Lifehouse that they'd like to share?  I have a Who only mix but will likely make one with Pete's solo work included.

Lifehouse was the Grandest of all the Worst Ideas.

It was too big. Way, way too big. At least SMiLE had some sort of chance of being finished. But the band becoming one with the audience? A guitar chord that could save humanity? Man, it's rare you see an concept album idea that defies the laws of physics. Still, some damn fine music got made in the process.

If Pete had mainly focused on making a solid Lifehouse double album and then relegated his flights of fancy ideas to an accopanying film it would have been achievable.

I've made a Lifehouse playlist using Pete's early 70's demos. I avoided the late 70's demos included in the bloated Lifehouse demos box set.

Pure and Easy/ Baba O'Riley/ Goin' Mobile/ Bargain/ Getting in Tune/ Greyhound Girl/ Mary/
Love Ain't for Keepin'/ Behind Blue Eyes/ Too Much of Anything/ Let's See Action/ Meher Baba M3 (early 70's keyboard instrumental from Psychoderelict Music Only Edition)/ The Relay/ Join Together/ Teenage Wasteland (variation on Baba O'Riley)/ Won't Get Fooled Again/ The Song is Over

The Townsend demos of this are brilliant, he is very underrated as a multi-instrumentalist

I agree. I think you could almost argue Pete's almost better on piano than guitar.

I've always felt it a crying shame that Pete and Brian never worked together. During the 70s they were both about as equally brilliant, insane, and unpredictable.
