(I tryed for half an hour ,I cant put in a picture) What am I not doing?
If you want to attach a picture on your message space is limited to 128kb. And even less than 128kb will always work.
What does work, is using an webiste for uploading pictures that can be used in forums. If you google a bit, you'll find many providers. For instance
www.photobucket.com
,
www.tinypic.com
, etc.
When you upload a picture, you'll get a few links in return, one of which you can use in forums like this. Just copy-paste it here and you're done. Works very well for me.
Please try it out. I'm very curious on that picture you mentioned!

Wow, does
that
photo bring back memories... (Although the only times I would ever see it from
that
perspective would be when Dennis & I would hit the Mexican place across the street! The
real
entrance was out back, through the alley - part of what made it so appealing to other artists) There was a phone to the right of the doors, behind that mirror, where you could ring for entrance. Further right, behind that window, was my daughter Brianne's nursery, later the home to an Elton John Pinball Wizard Machine. Those windows to the left were the 'lounge', where many photos were taken. You've all seen group pix taken there, with tons of plants & Rattan furniture... Man, such memories... Thank you SO much!!!

That is very cool. And since I am both a diehard BB fan as well as a fan of Triumph TR's, an enlarged version of that pic could find its way into a frame on my office or garage wall.

I went there on my HONEYMOON!
Early December 1976
We went in the back way and were shown around, but being a Friday afternoon, none of the band was there.

That's really cool. Thanks for the photo. As a young person who has never seen a picture of it, it's great to be able to see what it looked like.

Hey, I've got that magazine...
I've got that magazine, too... But man, thanks for posting this one! We're in the process of creating a brand new roach-clips archive website, and I currently can't link photos to my posts. However, when I first saw the pic of the outside of the studio, 4 pictures came to mind: one of the group in the rattan chair & couches, (there was one of these, with the whole group pictured with DJ Bob Colburn & another DJ, published in a Billboard around the same time. Anyone have a scan of that one?), either this one of Brian & Mike - which I previously posted
,
or a similar one of Dennis & Brian, w/Brian on the piano in front of the stainglass window, and then the cover of this magazine, which is actually a series of about six shots. I
think
this was a take of "It's O.K." I'm
sure
I won't have to wait for Boyd or C-man to tell me if Marilyn is on this track or not, will I folks? And again, thanks to all of you for invoking all these memories...

mr. roach....
i remember a july 1976 issue of gig magazine with an article called " beach boys celebrate 15th anniversary". america was on the cover. article by kris dilorenzo. a photo of the group in same clothing as the modern recording issue has brian, mike, al, dennis in front and carl in back. carl looks like he is standing, rest sitting or leaning over. plants in background. also has a photo i have seen elsewhere of the group huddled around each other in the control room. again same clothes. carl looks like his hands are in the praying position. al looks like mickey mouse at first glance because the tape reels are behind his head and makes him look like he has mouse ears...
had a short dennis interview.
guess you took these also?
the above 2 photos were also used, i believe, in the april 1977 issue of supergroups magazine issue #1. plus the photo with the plants was used, again from memory, in a 1976 issue of modern hi-fi & music magazine that had group on cover (sailing on dennis' boat).
plus the june 1976 issue of crawdaddy (1st of 2 parts on brian) had a group photo (same clothes) in color in front of stained glass window and brian sitting at piano. but i think it said guy webster took it. but they are wearing same clothes as above.
i also had a warners press kit from around 74/75 that came with 2 photos you took of the group in concert. carl wearing outfit shown in the dennis streaking photo.
and i remember a hit parader magaizne from 1977 that had a photo of the group in the lounge...same furniture..everyone on couch except carl who was sitting on floor by the table. dennis had no beard yet.
so question is...you take any of those?
thanks.....
