Continuing my tradition of writing songs about any occasion I can think of i've got a new one 'Song for a New Year' up on my myspace page;

http://www.myspace.com/brigadiermusic

It was supposed to be a minimalist folky sort of song but it ends up a bit Spectorish towards the end so that didn't really happen! Anyway please have a listen if oyu have a minute!
Cheers

You know what I think: beautiful song whose refrain is really catchy. And I love the build-up throughout. It's a great arrangement.

Great tune you've got there Matt, I really enjoyed it.  As Luther said, the build-up was really fantastic, very natural and not too over the top.  Love the reverb on the vocals near the end, then the contrast by going back to the dry and folky sound to finish.  You've got awesome arranging skills for sure.
