Working on my garrison in WoW. Someone's trying to sell [Landro's Lil' XT] and [Landro's Lichling] in Trade Chat.
I'm starting to read them as [Landy's Lil' XT] and [Landy's Lichling].

i think it can be attributed to people like Lindsey Buckingham and Russ Titelman. It's usually used when referring to Kevin S. Leslie, Brian's main handler who was a 20something young dude w/ a surfer bod and a blond ponytail. There's a video of Mike Love on A Current Affair where he refers to them as the Psycho Roadies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k56ecdZ1-AsAnyone know what the clip at 1:24 in that YouTube video is from? https://youtu.be/k56ecdZ1-As?t=1m24sIt's one of the rare instances that shows Al Jardine and David Marks in the group at the same time. That's from the 1963 Hawaii tour where Alan depped for Brian. Footage shot by David's father Elmer.

What is the origin of the term Surf Nazi and its association with Landy and his crew? I've often heard it referred to when discussing Landy's "body guards" and assistants. Was it a term Landy himself called them or a negative term by fans of the public?
Kevin Leslie and Evan Landy used to wear tshirts with the slogan "Surf Nazi" and "Surf Nazi (training)". The phrase itself dates from the fifties and originally meant someone totally devoted to surfing. As surfing gained popularity and the beaches filled with grennies, the original surfers grew aggressively territorial, hence the term gained a secondary, derogatory meaning. The application to Landy's goons requires no further explanation.

In Amusement Parks USA, after "she wiggles on her belly like a reptile", Hal Blaine says "she's got the biggest ass ....". Does anyone know what he says after that? On early versions (before they added "let's go see her" to the track), like the one on Made In California, it sounds like "lady I don't know". But there's more.
(Is this question insignificant enough for this thread?)

"Asp"! That's rather sophisticated. Although all I can get is "she's got the biggest asp <inaudible> lady I don't know".

Is it me, or has the Soundstage version of Hold on Dear Brother been taken off of Youtube?

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

I'm having a hard time trying to find it on the Internet, so, what happened with Brian Wilson and the "golf club incident" with Gary Usher's wife?
