Some day a group will record it and do a bang up job. The version on BWPS is pretty good too. I guess when GV was made, BW was at the height of his musical powers. There's so much to like about it, including the funeral type section.

Wow, they didn't even bother to attempt some of the original track's more interesting sections...and they managed to make the chorus a real chore to sit through! My "favorite" part was the high notes on "she looks in my eyes" only achieved through heavy use of autotune. Yech. |

What's with the whispered "sexy" in the background? And yes, this version was in a Sunkist commercial!! These guys (along with the guy from Fall Out Boy) also ruined Supertramps's "Breakfast In America". I honestly don't get why some people my age like GCH. Damn, I hate autotune! If you're a bad singer, just sing badly and be proud of your bad voice, or take voice lessons! If Dylan, Cash, Tom Waits, or even Springsteen were new artists today, they'd be autotuned to death until they sounded like T-Pain!! Gotta love this comment: uhmmm dude...beach boys are in no league with gym class heroes..beach boys don't even have a league. so no man...just no..
